We had to design and build every piece for a miniature train in inventor. I used youtube videos to help me figure out how to build each piece. I would say the hardest piece to build was the wheel or the axel peg. They needed a lot of attention to detail and took some time. Here are some pictures of each piece.

Capstone Project
Scope
Basically we have to design and build whatever our client wants. Given a restriction on materials we can only build so much and since Mr. Couture, our client, wants a man cave I do not believe we will have a problem with materials.
We will have enough materials to build the complete man cave for our client. So first we are going to design it in mine craft, then in inventor, and finally in foam board. Here are some pictures of our minecraft model.
Safety
-While cutting always cut away from you.
-Make a lot of small cuts for better outcome.
-Keep your hands and fingers out of the way.
Scale
The scale of our model is 1ft for every inch.
Client Feedback
After each design we had to go to out client for feedback.
Good Feedback:
-Creative design. Smooth look.
-Nice size, had everything.
-Good placement of furniture.
Change Feedback:
-Make hot tub outside.
-Make TV bigger.
-Add poker table.
Instructor Feedback
We completed our model within the scope of the project. It had smooth cuts and a bold design. Mr. Olsen said ours had the best cuts. Here are some pictures of our foamboard model.
Student Feedback
We got really good feedback in this section, getting 17 post-it notes. We were the second highest in the class. We got mostly orange post it notes, which is attention to detail. Meaning we got really good cuts and measurements. We also got one blue, best project in class. A pink for creativity and some yellows for proportion.

Park City Ski Trip
My family and I went on a ski trip to Park City. It was awesome. At first it was really cold compared to San Diego, but over the week i got used to it. We took some ski lessons to get started and remember what we already knew from past years. The snow was great, the city was awesome, and our instructor was also awesome. I even saw Shaun White in the halfpipe doing some tricks. It was a great trip and I hope we go skiing again next year.
